Microsoft unveils Windows 365: a cloud service that lets you run Windows 10/11 on macOS, Android, iOS and Linux devices

Microsoft has announced a new subscription service called Windows 365.

What it is

Windows 365 is a cloud service that lets you run Windows 10 or Windows 11 on macOS, Android, iOS and Linux devices. For the service to work, it is enough to use any browser or Microsoft Remote Desktop application.

According to the company, all user information will be stored not on the device, but in the cloud. This will allow you to work with your documents and applications even when you change the gadget. So far, Windows 365 is targeted at small businesses and corporate customers.

Price and when to expect

Windows 365 will be available to businesses on August 2. Subscription prices will be announced then. By the way, 2 versions of the service and 12 virtual PC configurations will be available to choose from.
