More popular Xiaomi smartphones will get the global version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced
Xiaomi is actively forcing the topic of the global firmware version MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. Last week the company announced the software itself and published the list of smartphones that will receive the update first. It included nine models, but now the list has grown to 11 devices.
Who was added?
Two POCO brand smartphones have been added to the list. Both represent the flagship segment. We are talking about POCO F2 Pro and POCO F3 based on single chip systems Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 870 respectively. Note that both models originally appeared in the unofficial list, but they were not mentioned in the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced announcement.
The release date of the update has not changed. Smartphones will start receiving the optimized version of the firmware in the fourth quarter of 2021. It is possible that out of the box Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro will already run on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. By the way, the same shell will be installed on the next generation flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12, which is also expected to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.
