The company Google recently introduced a mid-range smartphone Pixel 5a. It was warmly welcomed by the public, but a few days after the premiere, information about rapid overheating of the novelty appeared.
First users reported that Pixel 5a overheats during 4K UHD video recording at 60 FPS. But later it became known that the cooling system fails to cope even in 1080p@30FPS mode. And it's not affected by ambient temperature in any way.
It is assumed that the problem lies in the software. The manufacturer from the United States is launching its own investigation to find the causes of the fault. The company also intends to address the issue of phantom presses, which are also commonly reported by users.
