Xiaomi in late August announced a global version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced and said that smartphones will start receiving the update in the fourth quarter. However, two models the update came early. However, one of them crashed after that.

What do we know?

Xiaomi Mi 11X and POCO F3 were updated ahead of schedule. They received firmware numbers v12.5.3.0 RKHINXM and v12.5.3.0 RKHMIXM respectively. As you might have guessed, these are identical smartphones. The first one is sold in India and the second one is sold in Europe. Moreover, both are clones of the Chinese version of the Redmi K40, which was announced in February.

No information about problems with Xiaomi Mi 11X so far, but owners of POCO F3 complain that after installing MIUI 12.5 Enhanced the smartphone began to reboot for no reason. The problem can be solved by disabling the automatic brightness level adjustment and/or by deactivating the RAM expansion function.

Naturally, this should not be the case, so the company will have to release a firmware update in the near future. But so far Xiaomi and POCO have not commented on the situation.
