Meizu will unveil 30 new products next week, including Snapdragon 888+ powered smartphones and a new version of Flyme
Meizu, which established the brand Lifeme, will announce three dozen new products at once next week. They include two Snapdragon 888+-powered smartphones and another Snapdragon 870-powered model.
What we know
The 5nm Snapdragon 888+ single-chip system will power the Meizu 18s and Meizu 18s Pro, while the 7nm Snapdragon 870 chip will underpin the Meizu 18X. The older versions have already been certified by Chinese regulator TENAA. As it turns out, they will differ from Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro only SoC Snapdragon 888+ instead of Snapdragon 888.
In Meizu 18X we will see a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The main camera resolution will be 64MP and the built-in battery capacity will be 4200 mAh.
Together with the smartphones the company will introduce a new version of the firmware Flyme. Now the current models of Meizu work on the basis of the software Flyme 9. It is logical to assume that the next revision will be called Flyme 10. But we will know for sure as early as September 22.
