Meizu 18x will get a high-capacity battery and will be unveiled along with the flagships

Meizu will unveil three more models as part of its 18 series of smartphones. One of the upcoming new products will be Meizu 18x. It has been certified by 3C.

What is known?

Alas, the Chinese regulatory body hardly reveals the parameters of the smartphones that are undergoing certification. All that is known about the Meizu 18x is that it will get a 4200mAh battery and support for fast 30-watt charging via the USB-C port.

The model number is M172Q. It will compete with the flagships Meizu 18s (M182Q) and Meizu 18s Pro (M192Q)which will be equipped with Snapdragon 888+ processor. Both devices have popped up in the TENAA database.

As for the Meizu 18x, it may turn out to be a mid-range representative similar to the Meizu 16X. To recall, the flagship smartphones of the 16 series, released in 2018 and 2019, got Snapdragon 845 and Snapdragon 855, while the version with the index X went to the Snapdragon 710 chip.
