Xiaomi unveiled a 4K QLED 55" TV for €799
Xiaomi introduced in Europe a new TV Q1E equipped with QLED panel. The novelty was slightly more expensive than the smartphone Xiaomi 11T Pro, which debuted in the Old World the day before.
The TV features a 55" QLED panel with 103 percent NTSC color gamut coverage and 97 percent DCI-P3 gamut coverage. The matrix boasts a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K UHD format. But the refresh rate of the image is modest - 60 Hz.
Xiaomi TV Q1E has a thin frame, 15W stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi adapters. There is support for Chromecast, Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. The hardware platform is built around the MediaTek MT9611 mobile processor used in the Xiaomi Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition.
Price
The novelty will go on sale with PatchWall firmware based on the Android TV operating system. The Xiaomi TV Q1E is priced at €799. Sales will begin on November 21. Note that the TV costs € 50 more than the flagship Xiaomi 11T Pro in the top memory modification.
