Xiaomi 11T Pro - Snapdragon 888, 120Hz AMOLED display, 108MP camera and 120W HyperCharge in 17 minutes, priced from €649

As planned, Xiaomi held a big global presentation where it unveiled several interesting products. The first and foremost of the new products is the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

Design

We had already seen renders of the smartphone before the announcement, so the appearance was not a surprise. At the front there is a screen with thin bezels and a small hole for the front camera. At the back is located the main camera platform with three modules.

Xiaomi 11T Pro has overall dimensions 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8 mm and weighs 204 g. The body is made of aluminum and glass Gorilla Glass Victus. The novelty also boasts a lateral biometric sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and USB-C.

Specifications

The Xiaomi 11T Pro hardware platform is built around the 5nm Snapdragon 888 chip, which is complemented by 8-12GB of RAM. The expected upgrade over the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is on Snapdragon 865. The storage is characterized by 128GB or 256GB capacity depending on the modification.

The main feature of the smartphone was the support for fast 120W charging. At the same time the package includes a charger of appropriate capacity. According to the manufacturer, the battery capacity of 5000 mA * h (two cells of 2500 mA * h) is fully charged in 17 minutes.

Another feature of the novelty - the screen. It is based on an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sensor sampling rate of 480 Hz. The maximum brightness is 1000 nit. The matrix is 6.67" diagonal and is rated A+ by DisplayMate. Also note HDR10+, Dolby Vision, TrueColor, Sunlight Mode 3.0 and Reading Mode 3.0.

Out of the box, the Xiaomi 11T Pro runs on MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 firmware. The arsenal of the new flagship includes Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, IR port and Bluetooth 5.2. There is no headphone jack.

Camera

The main camera has a resolution of 108 megapixels. It is built on the basis of a sensor with pixels of 0.7 microns and supports combining nine adjacent pixels into one. The brightness is f/1.75. There is optical image stabilization.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro also features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module with a 120-degree angle of view and an f/2.2 aperture. The third component is a 5MP TeleMacro sensor. For selfies lovers, there is a 16-MP front-facing camera with f/2 aperture.

Pricing

The Xiaomi 11T Pro will go on sale in three colors: Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White and Celestial Blue. Buyers will have 8/128GB 8/256GB and 12/256GB modifications available at €649, €699 and €749 respectively. First-time buyers will be able to buy the novelty in the base configuration for €599 at the launch of the sale within 24 hours.
