Insider: Galaxy S22 Ultra to replace Galaxy Note and get integrated S Pen stylus

Chinese insider Ice Universe continues to reveal details about the upcoming flagship Galaxy S22 smartphone lineup.

This time the insider revealed interesting information about the top Galaxy S22 Ultra series device. According to Ice Universe, the novelty will be the replacement of the closed Galaxy Note lineup. Not only will the device get a squarer look, but it will also get support for the proprietary S Pen stylus. As in Note devices, it will be built directly into the smartphone.

By the way, the fact that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be a replacement for the Galaxy Note is also hinted at by its aspect ratio. According to the insider, it will be 19.3:9. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has the same aspect ratio. For comparison, all Galaxy S21 models have it at 21:9.

No official announcement date for Galaxy S22 Ultra yet, but rumor has it that it will be unveiled along with other members of the series in December or January.
