Xiaomi's first smartphone received a stable version of MIUI 12.5 on Android 12

It's happened. Only yesterday we wrote that over four dozen Xiaomi smartphones are participating in Android 12 testing, as the company has released a stable version of the operating system.

And a global version of the firmware has been released. So far, the update is only available for one model - Xiaomi Mi 11i. It is logical to assume that soon the update will be available for Redmi K40 Pro+ and Xiaomi 11X Pro.

The firmware is numbered v12.5.1.0 SKKMIXM. Along with the Android 12 operating system, the new MIUI 12.5 brings a security patch for September 2021.
