Apple has released the third beta version of iOS 15.1 with a few useful changes for iPhone 13 Pro owners.
What's new
In the update, developers have activated the shooting mode in ProRes format. You can turn it on in the camera settings. For owners of 128GB smartphones, the maximum resolution of shooting in this format is 1080p 30fps. In other cases, the quality increases to 4K. By the way, such a 1-minute clip weighs 1.7 GB.
Another useful innovation was the ability to disable automatic macro mode. With the release of smartphones it was on default and could not be switched off. Now there is a corresponding function in the camera settings.
When to expect
All participants of iOS beta testing program have already started receiving the update.
