Not a bug, a feature: Apple promises to fix macro mode on iPhone 13 Pro smartphones

The first reviews of the iPhone 13 line of smartphones have already appeared on network, and journalists and reviewers are complaining about inconvenient camera option iPhone 13 Pro.

What's not

 right?

The thing about is that as soon as you bring the camera closer to your subject - it automatically switches to macro mode. And this is very inconvenient because you, for example, need to focus on an object using a wide-angle camera, but the system automatically selects macro mode.

And it works for both stills and video. Only during video shooting you can disable the mode by selecting in settings "Lock camera", but during photo shooting - not. You can't manually disable macro mode, no matter how you try.

Apple said that this is such a camera chip, designed to improve interaction with smartphone. But this feature has received complaints - the company has promised to fix it in a future update. When to expect it - is not specified.

By the way, this also applies to the older iPhone 13 Pro Max model, as it too has an ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus.
