Global version of Honor 50 with Google services unveiled, priced from $410

Honor has finally launched the first smartphone with Google services on the international market after gaining independence. The debut novelty with GMS was Honor 50.

What is known

The global version of the smartphone almost does not differ from the Chinese one. The only thing that can be noted is the absence of versions 8/128GB and 12/256GB, the appearance of 6/128GB modification and, actually, support for Google Mobile Services. Also the price has increased, but about that a little later.

Honor 50 is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chip, which is also used in today's novelty Realme Q3s. The battery capacity is 4,300mAh and the fast charging power is 66W. The novelty has a 120Hz OLED screen, a 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP primary camera, a 32 MP front-facing camera and NFC. The software platform is the Magic UI 4.2 shell powered by Android 11.

Pricing

Honor 50 debuted in Malaysia in 6/128GB and 8/256GB variants. The price was $410 and $480 respectively. The European premiere of the smartphone is scheduled for on October 27. In some European countries the smartphone will appear later, on November 9. According to preliminary data, in the Old World, depending on the equipment for Honor 50 will have to pay €499 or €599. In China, the smartphone costs noticeably cheaper - from €360 to €455.
