It's official: Honor 50 global smartphone lineup will get support for Google services

It has been repeatedly reported online that Honor, after separation from Huawei, will be able to use Google services in its smartphones in the global market again. Now the manufacturer has officially announced it.

What we know

The company published a post on Twitter, according to which, the first devices with pre-installed Google applications on board will be global smartphones of Honor 50 line. Their announcement in Europe should take place in two weeks, on October 26.

Recall, the global lineup Honor 50 is rumored to include at least two handsets: the regular Honor 50 and its simplified version Honor 50 Lite. The first smartphone will get a 6.57-inch display with AMOLED matrix, FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, a main camera with 108 MP sensor and price tag from 499 euros. The novelty will be powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor paired with a built-in 5G modem.

As for the Honor 50 Lite, it should get a smaller screen, 64 MP camera and LTE support instead of 5G.
