Honor displaces Xiaomi and triumphantly enters the top three smartphone manufacturers in China
The Chinese brand Honor has broken into the top three suppliers of smart phones in its home market. Not least due to the popularity of Honor 50 and 50 Pro models.
What is known
For the first time about Honor's success in the "new life" was talked about back in early autumn. Then appeared a strange report Cinho Review, which said that the company ranked third in the second quarter of 2021. But no specific figures for Honor were released.
Now it's more serious. The data was shared by analytics agency Counterpoint Research. According to the new information, Honor's share at the end of the third quarter was 15%. For comparison, Xiaomi and Apple, which were in the top 5, captured 14% and 13% of the market, respectively.
Vivo leads with a share of 23%. The best-selling models are S10/S10 Pro, Y32s and Y52s. One fifth of the Celestial Empire smartphone market is controlled by OPPO. The most popular are Reno 6, A55 and A93. The first company increased its share by 6% and shipments by 21% year-on-year. The latter is up 5% and 26% respectively. Compared to last year, the market decreased by 9%.
