Source: the first smartphone based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip will hit the market in February

MediaTek recently showed its new flagship processor Dimensity 9000, and now it became known when the first smartphone based on it will be released.

When to expect

According to the Chinese edition of MyDrivers, it is not worth waiting for the first device with a new SoC on board in the near future. The device plans to release only in February. Unfortunately, what kind of smartphone it will be is still unknown, but we can assume that we are talking about the Redmi K50 Gaming model. His specs were recently disclosed by a Chinese insider... By the way, apart from Xiaomi, companies are also planning to use the new chip. Vivo, Realme, OPPO, Samsung, Motorola and Oneplus...

Recall MediaTek Dimensity 9000 - NSit is the world's first mobile chipset, which is built on 4-nanometer technical process. It boasts architecture ARM v9 as well as one core Cortex-X2 with a maximum clock frequency of 3.05 GHz, three cores Cortex-A710 at 2.85 GHz, four cores Cortex-A510 at 1.8 GHz, 10-nuclear graphics Mali-G710 and a new 5G modem.
