Huawei unveils MateBook X Pro laptops with Intel Alder Lake processors starting at $ 1,490

Huawei has announced a line of laptops following smart glasses Eyewear 3, smart watch Watch D and P50 Pocket smartphone... The series is called Huawei MateBook X Pro and includes three versions that differ in processors and SSD capacities.

What is known

Regardless of the modification, Huawei MateBook X Pro is equipped with a 14.2 "screen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels and support for 90 Hz. The panel has a brightness of 500 nits and occupies 92.5% of the inside of the lid thanks to its very thin display bezels.

The laptop weighs 1.38 kg and is 15.5 mm thick. The top padding is 6 mm wide, but this was enough for engineers to place a webcam there. Also of note are six stereo speakers, a 60W power supply, and an efficient cooling system.

Huawei MateBook X Pro received 16 GB of RAM and Intel Core i5 / i7 processors of the Alder Lake generation. The solid state drive capacity is 512GB or 1TB. The new product cannot boast of a discrete video card.

Prices

The start of sales of the Huawei MateBook X Pro is scheduled for January 6, 2022. The cost of the version on the Core i5 with a 512 GB drive was $ 1,490. Versions on the Core i7 with a 512 GB SSD and 1 TB will cost $ 1,645 and $ 1,960, respectively.
