Xiaomi 12X presented - almost the same Xiaomi 12, but on Snapdragon 870 and cheaper

Xiaomi 12X became the third smartphone of today's presentation. The model is almost an exact copy standard edition, but due to three differences it costs a little less.

What is the difference

First, the Xiaomi 12X is left without the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. It was replaced by the more modest Snapdragon 870 mobile processor.

Secondly, the company ditched wireless charging. Third, the wire charging power has been cut from 120W to 67W. All other specs, including cameras and display, are carried over from the standard edition.

Prices

The third novelty is also available in 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB versions. The prices can be found below:

• 128 GB - ¥ 3,199 / $ 500
• 8/256 GB - ¥ 3,499 / $ 550
• 12/256 GB - ¥ 3,799 / $ 600
