Xiaomi has recently introduced new flagships Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, and specialized publications in China have already started publishing the first reviews. From them it becomes clear that the older model (and, rather, the younger one) has serious overheating problems.

Qualcomm's chips have been prone to overheating lately, but the company continues to improve performance by putting the fight against heat generation on the shoulders of smartphone manufacturers. So, Xiaomi 12 Pro received an improved cooling system, but tests show that this is not enough.

Journalists write that when starting heavy games, at first the smartphone stably holds 60 frames per second, but after 15-30 minutes drawdowns occur. Depending on the game, the average frame rate is 51-53 frames per second, and the case temperature is 43-44.4 ° C.
