Lenovo reveals features of the Legion Y700 gaming tablet: Snapdragon 870 chip, 120Hz display and JBL speakers
Last month, we already heard that Lenovo is preparing some interesting gaming innovations, including - Legion Y700 gamer tablet... The head of the company did not keep intrigue and revealed the main characteristics of the device.
What will the Legion Y700 be?
A gaming tablet is a pretty curious idea, as most Android tablets more designed for work, education and leisure, and for gamers they mainly produce powerful gaming smartphones with eye-catching design and top-end hardware.
Judging by the images, the Lenovo Legion Y700 looks rather modest: there is no backlighting, no prominent elements, no bright details. It looks like the body is made of metal, there is a single camera on the back, and the screen is framed by small bezels.
The tablet will be equipped with 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling of 240 Hz. You should not count on the flagship processor - the model is based on the Snapdragon 870 chip from Qualcomm. Also worth noting are Dolby Vision support and JBL-certified speakers with Dolby Audio.
The Lenovo executive says the tablet will support the ability to adjust the aspect ratio of games to ensure they work properly. In simple terms, this is achieved by adding black bars at the top and bottom.
In addition to the Lenovo Legion Y700, the company is also preparing Legion Y9000P Gaming Laptop and Legion Y90 smartphone...
