Lenovo's gaming tablet to be called the Legion Y700, it gets an 8.8-inch 120Hz screen and JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support

Lenovo continues to reveal details about its first gaming tablet.

What is known

The Chinese manufacturer has published another teaser of the novelty, according to which the device will enter the market under the name Legion Y700. The tablet will receive a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sensor readout rate of 240 Hz. The screen resolution will be 2560 × 1600p. The panel will support 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. In addition, the new product will be able to boast JBL speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technologies.

It is not yet known what processor the Lenovo Legion Y700 will run on, but it can be assumed that it will be a top-end SoC Qualcomm or MediaTek.

When to expect

The release of the tablet will take place in early 2022.
