Within a few days, the US Air Force has deployed two groups of B-1B Lancer strategic bombers to the UK. This was reported by the news service Gloucestershire Live.

The US Department of Defence decided to send two groups of two supersonic aircraft to the United Kingdom. With an interval of several days, they arrived at the Fairford base (Fairford) of the British Royal Air Force in the county of Gloucestershire.

Because of the current dynamic security environment, it is difficult to overemphasise the importance of the strategic bombers' mission. This was stated by the commander of the US Air Force in Europe, General James Hecker.

U.S. strategic bombers have been in Europe recently. In May 2023, the US Air Force decided to send four B-1B Lancer supersonic aircraft to the region. They too were based in the UK.
