US and EU seize more than 10 super yachts of Russian oligarchs worth over $3 billion
The United States and the European Union continue to hunt for the yachts of Russian oligarchs - friends of President Vladimir Putin.

Since the start of the big war in Ukraine, Western countries have arrested at least 13 super yachts, even though they are hiding in isolated corners of the world with their transceiver devices turned off. One of the most recently arrested vessels was the $120 million yacht of billionaire Andrei Guriev. The oligarch came under EU and U.S. sanctions in March and August, respectively. His yacht was found by the FBI in Falmouth Harbor (Antigua and Barbuda).
The list of arrested vessels also includes more expensive yachts. For example, the 156th Dilbar by Alisher Usmanov. Its cost is $600 mln. Apart from that 135th yacht Crescent by Igor Sechin was arrested and its value is $190 mln. Besides there were also arrested Valerie by Sergey Chemezov (85 m, $140 mln), La Petite Ourse ($70 mln) and La Grande Ourse ($20 mln) owned by Alexey Kuzmichev, Lady M - owned by Alexey Mordashov ($55 mln).
The fate of the yachts is still unknown, but one of the arrested ships will be sold at an auction at the suit of the American bank JP Morgan. It is about the yacht Axioma belonging to businessman Dmitry Pumpyanskiy who has failed to make a credit payment of $20 mln.
