Apple launches a program for self-repair iPhone and MacBook in Europe
Apple in early 2022 launched Self Service program for self-repair in the U.S., and now has announced the announcement of the service in Europe.
Here's What We Know
In addition to the U.S., the service is now also available in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK. Users in these countries will be able to order some iPhone and MacBook parts and fix the devices themselves.
The program covers many smartphones, including the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series, as well as the iPhone SE (Gen 2). Of the laptops, all Apple-branded chip-based devices are available, except the MacBook Air on the M2.
As for prices, parts for the iPhone in Europe cost from 77 to 330 euros, and for the MacBook - up to 959 euros. By the way, if you send old parts to Apple, you can get credit for your next purchase.
