The head of the Bloober Team reported that work on the Silent Hill 2 remake is almost completed and the game could come out very soon
Last week we finally announced the remake of the cult horror game Silent Hill 2, which is being developed by the Polish studio Bloober Team.
In the debut trailer the developers didn't reveal the exact release date, but mentioned that the game is supposed to be released in 2023.
However, at the GPW Innovation Day conference, Bloober Team's head Piotr Babieno said that gamers will not have to wait long for the updated horror, as its development is in its final stages. He said that the studio started working on the remake in 2019 and is now polishing the finished material.
In any case, the release date will not be announced by the Polish developer, but the Japanese publisher Konami, which, by the way, fully financed the project.
It is known that the Silent Hill 2 remake will be available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5, and some time after the release it may be released on other platforms.
