The publisher Electronic Arts released its quarterly report, which describes the financial success and future plans.

We will not focus on the numbers (in general, the company's profits are steadily growing), but the plans for the near future deserve attention.

Here's What We Know

The report says that Electronic Arts plans to release six major projects by the end of the fiscal year.

Exactly five of them are known:

  • Need for Speed Unbound will be released in December;
  • and from January to March will release as many as five games: Dead Space Remake, PGA Tour, Super Mega Baseball and Wild Hearts.

Electronic Arts' sixth release so far is labeled "Major IP," and it will take place before the end of the fiscal year (until March 31, 2023). Most likely this name hides the action game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. If so, the developers will soon begin to actively share information about the project. It is likely that the new game will be shown at The Game Awards show, which will be held on December 8.

As for the free-to-play mobile game The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, its release has been postponed indefinitely.
