HTC U23 - Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, 120Hz display, IP67 protection and VIVERSE support

Taiwan-based HTC has introduced a simplified version of the U23 Pro smartphone. The model is simply called the HTC U23.

Here's What We Know

The key differences between the two new products are in the camera and memory capacities. The HTC U23 features a 64MP + 2MP primary camera and is available in an 8/128GB modification. The Pro version, on the other hand, has three modules (108 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP), optical stabilisation and also offers users 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the rest of the key specs, they are the same. The standard edition too gets a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 4,600mAh battery, 30W and 15W wired and wireless charging respectively. The OLED display has a 6.7" diagonal, Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The front side of the HTC U23 is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. The smartphone also has NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 32MP selfie camera and support for VR platform VIVERSE. The water protection is IP67.

Price & When We Can Expect It

HTC U23 will hit the market with Android 13 operating system pre-installed. The price and launch date of the smartphone is not specified. For comparison, the HTC U23 costs from $520 in Taiwan.
