We wrote that the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 was met with harsh criticism of the PC version of the game. Gamers complain about poor optimisation, problems with texture rendering, FPS drops, crashes, and much more.

Gamers' dissatisfaction is exacerbated by the controversial decision of Dragon's Dogma 2 developers to allocate only one save slot for character creation, and creating a new character is quite difficult. And of course, the criticism has not spared microtransactions. And now Capcom has commented on this situation.

Here's What We Know

The authors apologised for the inconvenience that players experienced during the release and announced the following changes: the game will be actively bug-fixed, and we are working on adding a feature to the Steam version of the game that will allow players who are already playing to restart the game and create a new character.

Regarding microtransactions, Capcom said that all paid items in the game can be obtained for free during the game.

Finally, they mentioned optimisation. So far, the developers are looking for ways to improve performance in the future.

Although the game has received high marks from critics, the authors obviously did not expect such a strong reaction from players, and the players themselves did not think that the game would be in such a state at release, so we are still waiting for new patches.

Where To Play

Dragon's Dogma 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
