Samsung recently sparked user dissatisfaction over its artificial camera intelligence that 'fakes' photos of the moon taken by its top flagships. As it turns out, Samsung is "enhancing" not only photos of the moon.

So, one owner of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra decided to try out the Remaster feature, which, according to the official website, automatically removes shadows and glare. The user took a picture of his 7-month-old daughter and was very surprised by the result of Remaster: Not only did the software remove some unattractive details, but for some reason it drew the baby an even row of teeth instead of a tongue.

The man repeated the experiment several times - and each time Remaster added teeth to the photo of his 7-month-old daughter. So it's definitely not a one-off glitch.

The Verge has reached out to Samsung for comment but so far has not heard back.
