This week, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal announced the bill on the ratification of an agreement between Ukraine and Turkey that would allow the launch of drone production Bayraktar in our country.
According to the government, $95,500,000 will be invested in the creation of the factory, as well as a center for maintenance and modernization of unmanned aerial vehicles over 10 years. The center is scheduled to be built in 2022. The investment will be $6,500,000.
The government says the construction of the factory and center involves the transfer of high technology and localization of production of advanced drones Bayraktar. The framework agreement was signed in February 2022 and will run until 2035. The contract provides for exemption from income tax and land taxes for investors. In addition, materials, equipment and components imported into Ukraine as part of the implementation of joint projects will be exempt from taxes.
