At the end of July, it became known that the Turkish company Baykar was planning to build its own factory in Ukraine for the production of attack drones. Since then, not only has the company not given up on this idea, but it continues to implement its plan: it has already purchased a plot of land for construction and has a project ready. Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar told Defense Express some details and showed the models of the future center.
Details
The area of the enterprise will be 30 thousand square meters, and the number of jobs for engineers and technicians will be more than 300. The future center will not only develop, but also produce drones.
We are talking not only about the Bayraktar TB2, but also models Akinci and Kizilelma, as well as other Baykar products. Recall that now two Turkish UAVs have Ukrainian engines - MS-500 and Ai-450 for Akinci and Kizilelma with Ai-25.
