Not just Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar Akinсi: Baykar plans to produce a jet drone Bayraktar Kizilelma with a Ukrainian engine in Ukraine
Recently we wrote that the company Baykar Technologies established a company in Ukraine to produce Bayraktar strike drones with Ukrainian engines and parts Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar Akinсi. As it turned out, Ukraine may set up production of another unusual UAV.
What we know
It is about jet drone Bayraktar Kizilelma. This was announced by the head of the company Haluk Bayraktar in an interview with Taras Chmut, Director of Come Back Alive Foundation.

Bayraktar Kizilelma will be the company's first jet UAV. It should get an engine AI-322F made in Ukraine, a maximum speed of 800 km/h and a mass of 5500 kg (1500 kg of which are designed for bombs and missiles). Bayraktar Kizilelma will be able to take off and land on Turkey's flagship landing craft TCG Anadolu (still under construction). The first flight of the UAV is scheduled for 2023.
