One of the future Bayraktar drone models may get a Ukrainian name - said Haluk Bayraktar
In Ukraine, despite the war, works on the creation of a factory of the Turkish company Baykar continue. The General Director of the company, Haluk Bayraktar, told about it at the IT Arena event in Lviv.

The plant will produce Bayraktar strike drones, with both the Bayraktar TB2 known to Ukrainians and the Bayraktar Akinci high-altitude long-range model, which has not yet been delivered to Ukraine.
"Ukraine has a long history in the aerospace industry and has very good technology. And we want to benefit from this cooperation," Haluk Bayraktar emphasized.
Also, he said, one of the future UAV models may get a Ukrainian name - it should be "a good historical context."
