Recently we wrote that Google was going to introduce a new Chromecast. Now our colleagues at 9to5Google have shared details about another new device from the company.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about the Nest Wifi Pro router. The novelty has appeared on the website of American retailer B&H. According to the leak, the device will support Wi-Fi 6E standard. That is, the throughput capacity of new items under ideal conditions will be up to 9.6 Gbps. Unfortunately, other characteristics of the router are not available yet.

By the way, the website also lists the price of Nest Wifi Pro - $199. For comparison, the 2019 Nest Wifi Router cost $169 at launch and the Google Wifi was $99. The routers support Wi-Fi 5 with up to 2.2 Gbps of bandwidth.

When We Can Expect It

There is no announcement date for the Nest Wifi Pro yet, but we can assume that the novelty will be shown at the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch launch in early October.
