Microsoft is working on Surface Duo 3: it will be a device with a flexible screen in the style of Galaxy Fold 4 and OPPO Find N2
Microsoft for several years released a foldable smartphone Surface Duo with two separate displays, but the experiment failed and now the company has decided to follow the trend and release a novelty in the style of competitors.
Here's What We Know
According to Windows Central, Microsoft is developing the third generation Surface Duo. The new product, unlike previous models, will have a large flexible display and a 180-degree hinge (the original Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 have a 360-degree hinge). That is, the device will resemble competitors in appearance. For example, Galaxy Fold 4, OPPO Find N2, vivo X Fold+ or Honor Magic Vs.
Unfortunately, the characteristics of the devices and the date of the announcement are not yet available. We can only assume that the smartphone will debut in late 2023 or early 2024.
