Ukrainian servicemen showed rare footage of the use of the nearly unique, though not the most advanced, Nona-K howitzer.

What we know

The unit first entered service at the USSR in 1986. It is now used by the Russian and Ukrainian armies. With a high degree of probability, the video demonstrates the operation of the cannon, which was captured, as the AFU had only two copies of "Nona-K" of its own. Only 188 howitzers were produced in total.

"Nona-K" is a 120-mm artillery system developed in the city of Perm. The range of fire is 13 km using active-reactive shells. The artillery unit can fire ten rounds per minute.
