The Russians began to "modernize" the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to hit ground targets.

What we know

Unfortunately, the test site was the city of Mykolaiv and its surroundings. This was reported by Vitaly Kim, head of the Mykolaiv regional administration.

According to him, the Russians equip anti-aircraft missiles with GPS-navigators. Despite this, the accuracy still leaves much to be desired, due to which the enemy fires a volley of 12 missiles at the city.

The Russian army has long been testing the capabilities of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system to destroy ground targets. According to the Russian military, the missiles can be used to destroy headquarters, radar stations and hangars at a distance of up to 120 kilometers when launched on a ballistic trajectory.
