The Armed Forces of Ukraine are using British armored personnel carriers FV103 Spartan.
What we know
At least two APCs were spotted on the front line not far from the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. A total of 35 British armored personnel carriers on tracked chassis have arrived in Ukraine.
The FV103 Spartan was developed as a variant of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance APC family. It is equipped with a 7.62 mm GPMG machine gun and not much different from the FV102 Striker, which was also developed in Britain.
The armored personnel carrier is equipped with a 4.2 liter Jaguar J60 engine. The operating range of the APC is 510 km. FV103 Spartan can reach up to 96 km/h. The APC is used to transport anti-aircraft and missile groups and other specialized teams. It can carry up to seven people, including three crew members.
