A collaborator from Donetsk "helped" the Ukrainian military with HIMARS to destroy a large ammunition warehouse
Proponents of the theory that social networks are evil got another argument in their favor. Kirill Makarov, a Donetsk collaborator, used social media to "help" the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy an ammunition depot in the Donetsk region.
What we know
On June 29, Makarov published a video in which several men were unloading boxes of ammunition. The description of the video stated that this is how an ordinary morning goes for a Young Republic activist. For several days Makarov posted pictures from the warehouse on social media and made it clear that in addition to ammunition, a unit of the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces was stationed there.
Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky wrote that the video helped the Ukrainian military identify the premises. After that, the HIMARS multiple rocket launchers took over and quickly wiped the warehouse off the face of the earth.
