DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced helped track down and destroy Russian armored vehicles
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to effectively use quadcopters from the company DJI to search for enemy equipment.
What we know
This time it became known that DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced helped to destroy several units of armored vehicles of the Russian army. In particular, an infantry fighting vehicle, which traditionally had its turret torn off as a result of a precise hit. The Ukrainian military used NATO's 155 mm artillery to destroy the armored vehicles.
Recall that DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced is not the Chinese company's newest drone. It was unveiled in late December 2020. The quadcopter is equipped with a 640 x 512 thermal camera and a 16 x zoom. The second camera is a 48 MP camera based on a ½" sensor CMOS. It has 32x digital zoom and 4x optical without loss of quality.
DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced supports the installation of a spotlight, RTK-module and flashing beacon Beacon. To control the drone you can use a remote control DJI Smart Controller with a built-in display. The drone costs about €6000 in Europe.
