All HIMARS safe and sound - Russia has not destroyed a single multiple rocket launcher in Ukraine
Russia has reported destruction of HIMARS in Ukraine at least three times. However, all U.S. HIMARS are intact.
What we know
The U.S. Department of Defense announced this. According to the United States Army general and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, Russia has not been able to destroy a single multiple rocket launcher HIMARS.
The general noted that it is not only the U.S. that provides long-range systems to Ukraine. Great Britain, too, has provided rocket artillery to the Armed Forces. As of today, all the MLRSs are working in the normal mode.
Milley stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces effectively use HIMARS, but the problem may lie in the shortage of ammunition. The Pentagon is dealing with the situation.
