Ukraine may receive F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters after modernization of airfields
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov continues to bring good news. This time it is about airplanes.
What we know
On the air of the national TV marathon Mr Reznikov answered the question about potential deliveries of foreign planes and about training of Ukrainian pilots. According to the Minister of Defense, there is a chance that pilots of the Air Force will start mastering the latest generation aircraft.
Mr Reznikov said that now everyone dreams about American fighters F-16 Fighting Falcon, but it is not enough just to make political decisions to get them. The problem of airfields must also be solved. The minister stressed that the authorities have already consulted with experts on the modernization of existing airfields.
We should note that it is too early to rejoice, since the modernization of the airfields does not automatically mean that Ukraine will receive fighters F-16 Fighting Falcon or any other aircraft from the partner countries.
