Tochka-U is a tactical missile system, work on which began back in 1968. It uses missiles with warheads weighing almost 500 kg that can be equipped with different types of warheads. The large mass is designed to compensate for low accuracy.
The missile system can hit targets at a distance of 15-120 km. Flight time to maximum range is less than three minutes. The launcher is located on the chassis with the wheel formula 6x6. The combat vehicle can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h on land and up to 8 km/h afloat. Cruise range reaches 650 km.
