The Ukrainian Armed Forces showed a rare video of launching a missile from the S-300 air defense system to destroy a drone
The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the S-300 surface-to-air missile system to destroy a Russian drone that approached military positions.
What we know
In our recent materials, the S-300 appears only as a weapon, with which the Russian army is shelling Ukrainian cities, despite the fact that the complex is designed to destroy aerial targets.
However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also have the S-300 air defense system in their arsenal. They showed a beautiful video of the launch of a missile to destroy an unmanned aerial vehicle. The very moment when the missile hits the UAV is not in the video. It is a little strange.
Recall that the Armed Forces have the S-300 surface-to-air missile system in their arsenal, which as of July 5 has shot down 27 airborne objects, including 21 cruise missiles. The last time we saw the SAM in action was over a month ago.
