The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a German Gepard antiaircraft tank at the front for the first time
The Gepard self-propelled anti aircraft launcher continues its service at the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated it on video for the first time.
Here's What We Know
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have already received 15 anti-aircraft tanks Gepard. They are used to destroy enemy air objects at a distance of up to 3 km in height and up to 4 km in range. The anti-aircraft unit can also destroy ground and surface targets at a range of up to 4.5 km.
It should be noted that at the beginning of August the website Der Spiegel published an article about Gepard not recognizing the Norwegian ammunition supplied to Ukraine. Since then, Germany has sent several self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine, but there has been no information on a solution to the projectile problem. Judging by the fact that the anti-aircraft tanks are already at the front, all the malfunctions have been fixed.
