The Ukrainian military used the American AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile to hit the Russian Tor-M2 SAM system.
Here's What We Know
This was reported by the Telegram channel Horevica. The missile exploded a few meters above the rear of the vehicle. This caused a fire that destroyed most of the SAM's electronics. What's interesting is that radar spotted the missile, but for some unknown reason, the target tracking system didn't work.
The AGM-88 HARM is an American high-speed antiradar missile. It was adopted by the USA in 1983. It has a passive radar seeker and targets radar stations. AGM-88 HARM is capable of hitting targets at a distance of 25 to 150 km. The US gave such missiles to Ukraine. The AFU uses aircraft as a launcher.
