Denmark gives Ukraine all its Caesar guns
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen visited Ukraine today. She met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and discussed support for the country, including arms.
Here's What We Know
For example, the prime minister confirmed that Denmark has decided to hand over French Caesar self-propelled artillery units to Ukraine. "We are transferring all of our 19 howitzers," she stressed during a joint briefing in Odessa.
Also they discussed today the issue of Denmark joining the "tank coalition". But this issue has not yet been resolved.
"I think we have proved by many deeds that we are indeed a real friend of Ukraine. Of course, tanks are what we discussed today. We just gave Ukraine artillery systems, but we need tanks as well. We have talked about various topics, which are important for Ukraine now and for the future as well, including tanks," said Mette Frederiksen.
