B-52 Stratofortress strategic jets practiced bombing tactics in the Middle East
The United States sent two B-52 Stratofortress strategic planes to the Middle East to conduct a simulated bombing raid in case of a possible conflict with Iran.
Here's What We Know
U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Alexus Grynkewich said the United States has worked out a plan with its allies to send bombing aircraft to the Middle East. Two B-52 Stratofortress planes flew from an air base in Great Britain.
They were accompanied by fighters from Britain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The armies of 16 nations were involved in logistical support. According to unconfirmed information, F-16 Fighting Falcon of Israeli Air Force took part in maneuvers.
Alexus Grynkewich emphasized that the threats to the USA and the allies in the Middle East will not be left unanswered. First of all we are talking about Iran. Tehran is still considered a source of great danger in the region, despite the negotiations on a nuclear deal.
