Turkish company Baykar Makina will give Ukraine shock drones Bayraktar TB2, for which Ukrainians raised UAH 600 million ($20 million) in three days.

What we know

Last week Sergei Pritula announced the launch of the "People's Bayraktar" project, which had a goal of raising 500 million UAH ($17 million) in a week. The blogger Igor Lachen helped with this.

Ordinary Ukrainians and business representatives collected UAH 600 million ($20 million) in just three days. Baykar Makina learned about the drone fundraiser and refused to accept payment for the strike drones.

The manufacturer decided to transfer all three Bayraktar TV2 to Ukraine completely free. The Turkish company asks to spend 600 million UAH to help the people of Ukraine in the fight against Russia.
