Ukrainian Armed Forces showed the fire work of the M270 MLRS missile system for the first time

Almost two weeks have passed since official announcement of the arrival of American M270 MLRS multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine. And now the Armed Forces have shown them in action for the first time.

What we know

Naturally, so far the place of application of M270 MLRS is not disclosed. Ukraine received three rocket systems in total, but soon their number will be tripled. Also do not forget about the three MARS II, handed over by Germany.

The M270 MLRS is an American missile system designed to destroy enemy targets at a distance of 2 km to 300 km, depending on the projectile. Ukraine has not yet received missiles with a launch range of 300 km.

The missile system is mounted on the chassis of the Bradley tracked combat vehicle. One M270 MLRS unit carries 12 guided missiles. The crew consists of three people.
